In this sale, 26 lots of 19th century images by Leon Gerard that were originally offered individually were ultimately sold as one package lot for 370000 Euros. Using the same exchange rate as the rest of the list, the Gerards would come in at $529100, good for tenth place on the list. While we might quiblle as to whether this is really one lot or not, I appreciate the heads up and will let readers decide for themselves. <br /><br />By the way, there was also a staggering Gustave le Gray (Grande Vague, 1857) in this same auction, selling for 300000 Euros, just outside the top 10.DLKCOLLECTIONhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14875914464454488384noreply@blogger.com
