Surprises (defined as having proceeds of at least double the high estimate) included William Henry Jackson’s Grand Canyon of the Colorado at $16800, Dave Heath’s Vengeful Sister, Chicago at $19200, and Francis Bedford’s suite of 3 albums at $132000.
